Anna went for her two-week checkup today and she's doing great. The doctor was very happy with her health. She's already more than re-gained to her birth weight; She's still small, but she's gaining quickly as she's a very good eater. She is very alert when awake and her disposition seems very easy. Here are her stats:
Weight: 6 lbs 12.5 ozs (10th percentile) Height: 19 in (10th percentile) Head: 13.4 in (5th percentile)
Molly was invited to her friend Mora's 2nd birthday party at Monkey Joe's, which is like an inside playground. The kids had a great time in the bouncy castles, then we all got pizza, cake and ice cream.
So far, Molly is happy to have a little sister. Well, she still doesn't really understand yet, but at least she's not UN-happy about it. She says, "Baby Sleeping" and "Baby Crying." She likes to look at Anna and tries to touch her - though we're trying to keep that to the feet and toes.
Molly has been doing a refresher course for swimming and water survival, or as she calls it, "Fimming!" She cried the first few days in the water, then started loving it again. By the end, she was leaping in to the instructor's arms.
